These terms cover the use of Lino, the homework tutor that works on WhatsApp. By sending the first message, you agree to what is written here.
Lino takes a photo, a PDF, an audio note, or the text of a homework question and returns an explanation at the child's grade level, with exercises to practice. It also keeps a history of what was studied and sends the guardian a recap of the period.
Lino does not replace school, a teacher, or specialized educational or clinical support.
Lino does not hand the child a finished answer to copy. When it recognizes that the child is the one asking for the result, it answers by teaching the path instead, and that is on purpose.
Lino is an artificial intelligence system and it can be wrong. Check anything that matters, the same way you would check any explanation.
The account holder is an adult over 18 who is responsible for the child. By using Lino you state that you are that responsible adult and that you authorize the child in your care to be helped here.
The first three lessons are free and require no card.
After that, unlimited access is a monthly plan. In the United States it is US$9.90 per month, paid by card. In Brazil it is R$29,90 per month, paid by Pix or card.
There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. You cancel whenever you want, from your account area or by asking Lino on WhatsApp.
Access runs for the period you paid for. When that period ends without renewal, Lino tells you and pauses new lessons, without deleting the child's history.
If Lino is not what you expected, message us within seven days of a payment and we refund it. Customers in Brazil have this right by law under the consumer code, and we apply the same window everywhere.
The plan is unlimited for one family's use. There is a generous daily limit, sized for the real volume of homework, which exists only to stop automated use and resale. If you hit it on the night before a test, just tell us.
Lino is for homework. Do not use the service for illegal, abusive, or sexual content, to try to bypass the system's protections, or to resell its answers.
We may suspend an account that does this, and we will say why when we do.
Lino runs on top of WhatsApp, a third-party service. Outages, blocks, or policy changes on that platform can affect the service, and in those cases we do what we can to restore it and to tell you.
We answer for the service we provide, within the limits of applicable law. We do not answer for school decisions, grades, assessments, or academic outcomes, which depend on many factors outside our reach.
For customers in Brazil, Brazilian law applies and the consumer's home jurisdiction is the venue for any dispute.
