Lino is a homework tutor that works inside WhatsApp. The person who talks to it is the child's parent or guardian. This page explains, without the runaround, what data we handle, why, who it is shared with, and how you ask us to delete all of it.
The data controller is Systemroot Soluções em Tecnologia, which operates Lino. You reach us on the same WhatsApp number Lino uses, and that is where data requests are handled.
Lino is paid for and used by an adult responsible for the child. The child does not create an account, has no login, and is not our customer. A parent may hand the phone to the child during an explanation, and Lino adjusts its language when that happens, but the account and the decisions stay with the adult.
The guardian's WhatsApp number, which identifies the account.
Each child's first name and school year, given by the guardian. We do not ask for a last name, school, address, ID document, face photo, or date of birth.
The content of conversations with Lino: the questions sent and the explanations returned, along with the subject and topic of each lesson. That is what lets Lino remember where a child struggled and build the recap.
Usage data, such as how many messages per day, to apply the fair-use limit and keep costs sane.
An email address, only if you give one.
Payment details never pass through us. Cards and Pix are handled directly by Stripe and Mercado Pago, and we only receive confirmation that a payment happened.
The photo you send is not stored by us. It is read to produce the explanation and then discarded, and there is no album, folder, or image database on your child here.
For that to work, the image passes through two third parties on the way: the WhatsApp provider that delivers the message, and the artificial intelligence model that reads it. The text of the explanation produced from it is kept in the child's history.
To perform the contract you entered into with us, which is answering homework and following the child's progress.
To meet legal and tax obligations tied to billing.
To protect the service from abuse and automated use, which includes logging when an unknown number contacts us.
We do not sell data, and a child's conversations are never used for advertising. Sharing happens only with the vendors the service needs in order to exist: the WhatsApp messaging provider, Anthropic (which produces the explanations), OpenAI (which transcribes audio and generates voice notes), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe and Mercado Pago (payments).
Some of these vendors operate outside your country, so data is transferred internationally, on the basis of performing the contract and under each vendor's contractual safeguards.
Lino's website may use measurement tools to understand how many people reach it and how many decide to talk to Lino. While a campaign is running, that includes the ad platform's own measurement, which uses cookies in your browser.
This measurement lives only on the website and counts visits and clicks. It cannot see WhatsApp conversations, a child's history, or lesson content, and nothing a child studies is used for advertising.
The child's history is kept while the account exists, because it is what makes the progress tracking meaningful. If you ask us to delete it, we delete the account, the children registered on it, and the conversations, keeping only the payment records the law requires us to preserve.
You can confirm that we process your data, access it, correct anything wrong, ask for deletion, ask for portability, and withdraw consent.
To exercise any of these, message Lino on WhatsApp and ask. Deletion requests are honored without you having to explain why.
Conversations travel over encrypted connections and sit in a database with restricted access. No system is infallible, which is why Lino is designed to ask for as little as possible: no last name, no ID, no address, no face photo.
If something meaningful changes, we update this page and the date at the top. A change that affects what was already agreed with you is announced on WhatsApp itself.
